About

A native New Yorker, I now live in southern California with my husband, son & 2 retired greyhounds, Freeway & Beau. I have been an educator since the early 1980’s and a crafts person since childhood, embracing puppetry, weaving, sculpture, photography and more. My objective is to never stop learning. In my quest to learn and create, I came across two mediums that I became passionate about, first glass and then jewelry.

It all began with a stained glass class at a local parks & recreation center. I next discovered mosaics and finally my continuous desire to learn led me to fused glass. I enjoyed the colors of the glass so much that I decided I needed to wear the glass and thus began my journey with jewelry.

For years, I’ve been designing my own jewelry and glass for my house. Whenever anyone came to my house or commented on my jewelry they would ask if I would sell them something or make something for them. My hobby took its natural course and became a part time business. However, KHB glass & jewelry is much more than a business, it’s a big portion of my life. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and every piece I make is truly a labor of love. I hope you’ll enjoy my glass and jewelry as much as I love making it.

One of my passions is custom, one-of-a-kind pieces. If you can envision it, I can create it. Please email me to discuss how, together, we can create what you envision.
